Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated, proactive team member who takes pride in their work and is eager to grow with our business. No prior cabinetry or woodworking experience is required—we are happy to train the right person who brings a strong work ethic, a reliable attitude, and a keen eye for detail.
In this role, you will play a key part in keeping our shop running efficiently, moving materials, assisting with cabinet pre-assembly, and occasionally traveling to job sites to help with delivery and installation setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day shop tasks, including material prep, staging, and maintaining an organized workspace.
- Safely load, unload, and carry heavy cabinets, countertops, and raw lumber/boards.
- Travel to job sites as needed to assist with deliveries, staging materials, and setup.
- Support lead woodworkers and installers with basic assembly, hardware installation, and sanding (training provided).
- Take initiative around the shop to identify what needs to be done next without constant supervision.
- Maintain equipment, keep safety standard guidelines top-of-mind, and keep job sites clean.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proactive Mindset: Self-motivated, dependable, and genuinely invested in helping the shop succeed.
- Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Physical Capability: Must be able to comfortably lift, push, and carry 50+ lbs (heavy cabinets, sheet goods, and lumber) regularly.
- Reliable Transportation: Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable means to commute to the shop and drive to job sites when required.
- Skills: Comfortable around basic hand/power tools (or quick to learn).
- Experience: Cabinetry experience is a plus, but not required. Starting pay is directly tied to relevant experience and skill level.
