Overview: We are seeking a full-time Regional Director of Operations in the Ashland/Medford /Southern Oregon area to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple properties. This role requires frequent travel to assigned properties. This exempt position reports to the Vice President of Operations and requires regular presence at assigned properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct operational activities across multiple properties to ensure excellence in hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and engineering services
- Develop and implement strategic plans, budgets, and revenue management initiatives
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying new business opportunities
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives to maximize market share
- Establish and maintain operational procedures, communication protocols, and quality controls
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Supervise and develop team members (0-5 direct reports)
- Regular travel between properties is essential to role success; position will require frequent travel to the assigned properties in Southern Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4-10 years of relevant hospitality management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Proven track record in strategic planning and implementation
- Experience with hotel revenue management and financial analysis
- Applicant must reside in the greater Southern Oregon area and be willing to travel between hotels and business locations as needed
