Campground Manager
Seasonal · On-Site RV Optional
Location: Camp Sack-In – Angola, IN
Schedule: Approx. 40 hours/week · Seasonal (April – end of October)
Position Overview
Camp Sack-In is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Campground Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the campground for the season. You may live on-site in your own RV (with a campsite provided as part of your compensation) or commute. As Manager, you are the primary point of contact for guests and staff, responsible for the overall operation of the property — guest service, office, staff, grounds, and store — and for keeping the campground clean, safe, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services & Office Operations
- Manage office operations, including answering phones and responding to emails promptly
- Handle reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and payment processing
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service to all guests
- Monitor and control gate access
- Enforce campground rules and policies fairly and consistently
- Carry the manager phone and respond after hours, or delegate to a qualified team member
- Read and bill electric for monthly guests
- Maintain posted store hours
Leadership & Campground Oversight
- Lead, schedule, and direct campground staff and site-exchange workers
- Be visible and present around the property — inspect cleanliness, grounds, and facilities ("inspect what you expect")
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for guest and staff needs, concerns, or issues (must be available for emergencies 24/7)
- Hold responsibility for all aspects of the campground and ensure delegated tasks are completed accurately and on time
Inventory & Store
- Monitor inventory for campground/store supplies; place orders and restock as needed
- Keep the store and office areas clean and well-presented
General Operations
- Maintain awareness of campground conditions; report and coordinate maintenance needs
- Help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the park

Qualifications
- May live on-site in your own RV (campsite provided as part of compensation) or commute to the campground
- Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently and lead a small team
- Comfortable with administrative tasks (phone, email, reservations, payments), reservation/computer systems, and outdoor work
- Previous campground, hospitality, or management/customer-service experience preferred
Compensation
- Pay based on experience; final rate depends on whether you take an on-site campsite (provided as part of compensation) or commute
- Approximately 40 hours per week — seasonal (April – end of October)

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
