The Role
The Business Development Manager, Inbound & Broker Growth is a quota-carrying individual contributor focused on converting demand and expanding Tres Health’s existing broker channel through conversion of inbound leads and broker growth.
What You’ll Own
Inbound Conversion

Own timely follow-through on inbound leads (Marketing generated) and open opportunities through to converted business.

Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers evaluating Tres Health plans, coordinating internally with underwriting, TPA, and operations to move quotes to close.

Facilitate open enrollment and broker presentations on Tres products, services, and technology on an as needed basis.
Broker Development

Prioritize and develop brokers already onboarded to the Tres Health platform to grow the volume and value of business they place with Tres Health.

Re-engage low-activity or dormant brokers; convert single-group relationships into repeat, multi-group producers.

Match brokers and their SMB clients to the right Tres Health products across level-funded major-medical, MEC/MVP alternatives, and ancillary lines.

Engage brokers and build awareness of Tres Health through industry conferences and events.

Renewal Support

Support annual and/or mid-term renewals to protect and expand the book, partnering with account management and operations.
Pipeline Tracking

Maintain clean, current pipeline and activity data in the CRM.

Give leadership an accurate forward view of expected conversions.
Key Metrics
-
Net-new revenue. This role is measured on incremental revenue generated through net-new conversions and broker expansion.

Conversions. Close rate for inbound leads.
- Renewal expansion. Coverage and plan growth for retained customers.
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

Inbound leads are worked to a consistent, measurable close rate, with no leakage from slow follow-up.

A meaningful cohort of previously dormant or low-activity long-tail brokers is reactivated and placing business.

A repeatable, motion for engaging and growing brokers.

Renewal support measurably contributes to retention and in-force growth.

What This Role Is Not Responsible For
- Outbound channel or partnership development.
- Net new logo identification and conversion.

Who You Are
Required
-
Previous Account Management role with broker-facing relationships at a competitor or ancillary carrier; lives in the broker channel day-to-day and already knows how brokers think, buy, and place.

A track record of hitting account growth targets in a relationship-driven, channel sales motion.

Strong follow-through and responsiveness with the discipline to convert a lead before it goes cold.

Comfort as an individual contributor in an early-stage, fast-growing, and remote environment; self-directed, without an inherited playbook.
Strongly Preferred

Familiarity with level-funded, stop-loss, TPA/benefits-administration.
- Experience selling into or around SMB and grey-collar employer segments.
Work Schedule & Travel
Full-time, remote position aligned with U.S. business hours. Flexibility required for critical project deadlines, cross-functional meetings, and occasional travel (0–10%) for team collaboration or vendor engagements.
Remote Work Requirements
Dedicated home office with reliable, high-speed internet.
Secure workspace aligned with HIPAA security standards (device encryption, secure Wi-Fi, screen privacy).
Ability to effectively coordinate and lead projects in a fully remote environment.
