Your field visits to Carlsbad and surrounding areas will be essential for data collection, operational handovers, and ensuring project success. Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Unconventional (Uncon) design and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in engineering design issues
- Proven ability to perform field visits for data collection and operational assessments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with operations and construction teams
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience working in Midland or Carlsbad, NM
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols in oil and gas facilities
- Familiarity with project management tools and software
- Experience with design modifications and process optimization
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with a focus on facilities or plant engineering
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to Carlsbad and surrounding areas approximately every two weeks for field work (minimum 2 days per visit)
- Valid driver’s license and personal transportation (or acceptability of provided allowances)
- Ability to commit to a 6-month initial contract with potential for extension
- Compensation includes $69/hour with a personal truck allowance of $125 per day worked
