A rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year. Serving an elementary school population, you’ll bring your expertise to support students’ communication and learning needs in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
This full-time contract position involves a range of responsibilities, including oversight of critical speech-language services. Applicants must have proven experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), as well as providing direct therapy, conducting evaluations, participating in ARDs, and developing and implementing effective IEP goals.
Desired Skills and Background:
- Valid SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Background in pediatric speech-language therapy, with school-based experience highly preferred
- Demonstrated capability in supervising SLPAs
- Proficient in administering speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Competence in goal writing and progress monitoring
- Familiarity with elementary-aged student caseloads
Key Duties:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to elementary students
- Conduct thorough evaluations and participate in ARD meetings
- Supervise SLPAs to ensure high-quality, compliant interventions
- Write and monitor student goals aligned with IEPs
- Collaborate with educators and families for optimal student progress
