EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The Department of Information Technology is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior O365 Engineer in the Infrastructure Division to join our team. This position will manage the County's O365 environment, providing the highest level of customer service, especially with advanced user administration providing Tier 3 support. We are looking for an individual who has experience with cloud deployments and has excellent customer service.Job Responsibilities or Illustrative Job Tasks: Provide O365 administration, Exchange administration, Quest Archive Manager administration, AD administration and mail flow troubleshooting.Provide Tier 3 messaging support, FOIA and legal searches using MS Purview, general user administration for email and Teams.Coordinate assistance and guidance to customers in the timeframe and manner defined by the supervisor or mutually agreed to with the customer. Satisfy customer requirements and identify solutions to customer related issues.Provide Technical support to Network Engineers, Systems Engineers and other staff as needed.Provide technical training as requested by management.Monitor systems and responds to issues proactively.Provide after-hours support as required. We are seeking an individual with: Advanced knowledge of O365, Outlook/Exchange configuration and administration, e-discovery, MS Teams policies, MS license administration, and Quest Archive ManagerGeneral knowledge of installation, configuration, and troubleshooting systems to include Active Directory, Domain Controllers, component services, such as but not limited to; file/print, DNS, DHCP, FTP, and IIS, Internet communication protocols, Windows/Linux/VMware infrastructure, server administration and software toolsAbility to communicate ideas and plans clearly both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical staffStrong interpersonal skills, ability to work with senior leadership and a collaborator that assists with solving business problems
