Position: Product Manager/Product Owner
Client Location: Washington D.C
Work Location: Two Days On-site and Rest of week Remote
Duration: 8 months
Interview: WebEx/skype/video conferencing (On-line test may be possible)
Must have skills:
- At least 8 years of experience in Product Management, including as a Product Manager or Product Owner role working with an Agile development team.
- Experience with Change Management and Business Process Re-engineering
- Experience in reviewing and creating effective technical documents and project plans.
- Knowledge of project management and information technology specialty areas (e.g., application systems design, database management, computer equipment, software, and systems).
- Knowledge and experience working in Federal or State Government, and an understanding of business and financial operations.
- Should have experience in briefing Leadership on Progress, Risks, and Recommendations.
- Expertise Supporting the preparation of Issue Papers and Reports for the Board of Directors and the FCC (Federal Communications Commission)
- Knowledge and expertise with large Federal Benefit programs, or experience working with entities that participate in such programs.
- Experience with Agile development concepts and tools (JIRA, Confluence), plus project management/process modeling software (MS Project, Visio, or equivalent).
- Ability to work independently, but also collaborate and work across other departments as needed.
- Bachelor Degree and/or relevant technical training with no preferred certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Should have Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Should have Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
