Silos Restaurant at the Pier B Resort Hotel is currently looking for experienced, dependable positive breakfast cooks to join our team! Silos Restaurant features lakefront dining as well as a top of the line banquet facility.
To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate should have the following criteria.
- A team player - while also able to work alone with multi-tasking abilities.
- The ability to prepare a variety of foods for service and banquet functions.
- Follow a recipe to the chefs specification.
- Familiar with the operation of flat top grills, deep fryer, broiler, food processor, mixer, slicer, steamer & pizza oven.
- Assists with prep work on items needed for next shift or upcoming functions.
- Keeping a clean work station, properly handles leftover food complying with health standards & regulations.
- Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize and use time management skills effectively.
- Has a positive attitude and influence on guests and co-workers.
30-40 hours per week with possibility of OT hours
