Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at the Goodhue Living. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our building, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Position Details:
- 28 hours a week
- Monday through Friday

- Wage: $17/hour
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Cleaning of common space bathrooms
- Replace towels, and replenish toiletries as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests and concerns in a timely manner.
- Assist with apartment turns, painting, deep cleaning and sanitizing.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning and housekeeping roles, with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Familiarity with floor care practices including carpet cleaning and hard surface maintenance.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of janitorial practices for both residential and industrial settings is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
