Imaging Facility Manager (Multi-Modality Outpatient Imaging)

The Imaging Facility Manager is a senior, hands-on operational leader responsible for the overall management, performance, compliance, and growth of an independent outpatient diagnostic imaging center.
This role requires a highly experienced imaging professional with deep knowledge of MRI, diagnostic X-ray, and bone densitometry (DEXA) operations, combined with proven management, regulatory, and business acumen.
The Manager is fully accountable for clinical quality, staff leadership, regulatory compliance, patient experience, physician relationships, financial performance, and day-to-day operations. This position functions with a high level of autonomy and is expected to independently manage the imaging facility, proactively identify issues, implement solutions, and continuously elevate operational standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical & Technical Oversight
Provide clinical leadership and oversight for MRI, diagnostic X-ray, and bone densitometry (DEXA) services to ensure high-quality, diagnostically accurate imaging.
Maintain oversight of MRI safety programs, including Zone management, implant/device screening processes, emergency preparedness, and staff competency.
Operational & Facility Management
Develop, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and workflows that support efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.
