The Foundations Yard serves as a centralized support hub for ongoing foundation projects, providing critical logistics, maintenance, and operational support to ensure field crews can execute work efficiently and without delays. The yard’s primary function is to coordinate the receiving, organization, and distribution of tooling and materials across active projects. This includes managing incoming shipments, inspecting equipment upon arrival, and preparing loads for delivery to job sites in alignment with project schedules. In addition to logistics, the yard plays a key role in tooling readiness and lifecycle management. All tooling is inspected, serviced, and repaired as needed to ensure it meets safety and performance standards before being deployed back into the field. This includes wear part replacement, welding, hardfacing, and general maintenance to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
As a Welder, you’ll weld metal components together to fabricate, hardface, or repair products according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders using MIG and stick welding. Requires knowledge of welding techniques and principles. Responsible for quality workmanship and dimensional accuracy. Must be physically capable of handling parts, materials and equipment as needed. Requires little supervision. The Lead Welder will be required to mentor, train, and help other welders in the shop. There will be days or operations where you are not welding and will have to assist with other shop or yard duties, such as loading / unloading tooling and equipment.
