Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.
- Repair or replace automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to enhance vehicle safety features.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs, welding, and auto body work when necessary.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic problems efficiently.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers while providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop settings.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, heavy equipment mechanics, and auto body repair is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment equipment, and auto estimating software is a plus.
- Proficiency with vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and suspension work.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for complex mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
