Security Systems & IT Integration Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technician to join our team specializing in low-voltage systems, security infrastructure, and IT integration. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in cabling, access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, MSP/IT services, and VOIP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems (copper and fiber)
- Configure and support Access Control systems, primarily DSX
- Install and maintain Intrusion Detection systems including DSX, Bosch, and Radionix
- Deploy and manage IP Camera systems such as IP Pro and Verkada
- Provide MSP/IT support including Microsoft 365, Fortinet firewalls, and Ubiquiti networking equipment
- Implement and support VOIP solutions: Elevate UCaaS/CCaaS, Mitel on-premise and cloud
- Perform system integrations, testing, and commissioning
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
- Proven experience in cabling installations and certifications (preferred)
- Hands-on expertise with DSX Access Control and Intrusion systems
- Experience with Bosch and Radionix intrusion detection
- Knowledge of IP cameras: IP Pro and Verkada platforms
- MSP/IT background with O365 administration, Fortinet, and Ubiquiti
- VOIP experience with Elevate UCaaS/CCaaS and Mitel systems
- Valid driver's license and ability to work in various environments
Preferred: Industry certifications and 3+ years of relevant experience
