Are you a natural problem-solver who genuinely loves helping people? At our agency, our sales team brings customers in the door, but our Customer Experience Specialists are the reason they stay. We are looking for a highly organized, empathetic, and fully bilingual (Spanish/English) professional to join our in-office team and provide exceptional service to our diverse customer base.
This isn't a mindless, read-from-a-script call center job. You will be a licensed insurance professional, helping our English and Spanish-speaking customers navigate their auto and home policies, solving complex billing issues, and providing peace of mind when they need it most.
Why In-Office? Insurance can be complex, and you shouldn't have to figure it out alone. Working in our office means you have instant access to management and a supportive team to help you answer tough questions in real-time. You will be part of a high-energy, collaborative family.
What You'll Do
- Be the Hero: Answer inbound calls from existing customers regarding their auto and home insurance policies, coverage questions, and billing inquiries in both English and Spanish.
- Process Changes: Accurately update customer accounts, process payments, and modify coverages using our agency management systems.
- Protect & Advise: Identify gaps in a customer's coverage (like noticing they have an auto policy with us, but no home or renters insurance) and smoothly warm-transfer them to our sales floor. You are the first line of defense in ensuring they are fully protected.
- Retain & Educate: De-escalate stressed customers with a calm, friendly demeanor and translate complex insurance terms into easy-to-understand language for our Spanish-speaking community.
Who We Are Looking For
- The Bilingual Communicator: You are fully fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) and can seamlessly toggle between the two to provide world-class service.
- The Empath: You have a warm, professional phone voice and a genuine desire to make a customer's day better.
- The Advisor: You are observant. You can spot an opportunity to help a customer get better coverage and feel completely comfortable recommending they speak with one of our agents.
- The Organizer: You have excellent computer skills, can navigate multiple screens at once, and never let details slip through the cracks.
- The Rock: You have thick skin, remain calm under pressure, and don't take frustrated customers personally.
- Note: You must be willing to obtain a Property & Casualty license (we will guide you through the process).
