Progressive Periodontics is a growing periodontal and implant specialty practice serving patients in Turlock and soon-to-be Modesto. With a new Modesto location underway, we are preparing for continued growth and are looking for an experienced dental administrative professional who can take meaningful ownership of the patient journey.
This is not a traditional front desk position. The right person can confidently guide patients from their first phone call through consultation, treatment scheduling, financial arrangements, and follow-up. We are looking for someone warm, polished, organized, proactive, and comfortable helping patients understand treatment costs and next steps.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Answer phones with warmth and professionalism, identify patient needs, and schedule appointments appropriately.
- Help protect the doctor’s schedule by managing changes, cancellations, and patient follow-up with attention to detail.
- Guide patients through treatment plans, fees, deposits, payment options, and next steps clearly and confidently.
- Verify insurance benefits, explain estimated patient responsibility, and follow up on outstanding claims, balances, and patient items.
- Create a polished, calm, attentive experience from the first phone call through follow-up.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A warm, professional communicator who helps patients feel heard, informed, and cared for.
- Someone who can discuss fees and financial arrangements with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
- A proactive team member who thinks ahead, notices what needs attention, and follows through without repeated reminders.
- A calm, organized person who can manage competing priorities without allowing important details to fall through the cracks.
- A patient-service mindset rooted in hospitality, accountability, and strong follow-through.
WHO YOU ARE
- You bring 3+ years of dental administrative experience.
- You understand dental terminology, treatment workflows, scheduling, insurance, and collections.
- You are comfortable discussing treatment costs, deposits, payment options, and patient balances.
- Periodontal, oral surgery, implant, or specialty-practice experience is a plus, but not required for the right fit.
- Experience with Tab32 is helpful. A willingness to learn and follow systems is important.
