Join the Founding Team at Alter Scalp Spa
We’re hiring licensed hair stylists to join our team as Scalp Spa Technicians for our upcoming opening this summer in North Raleigh/Falls River area.
Alter is a coastal-inspired scalp spa designed to feel like an escape from the stress and busyness of everyday life — not only for our guests, but for our team too.
This is a completely different environment from the traditional fast-paced salon experience. Our focus is relaxation, wellness, intentional service, and creating a calm atmosphere for both clients and staff.
Position Details
- Part-time & full-time positions available
- Flexible scheduling
- Weekend availability preferred (especially Friday–Sunday)
- Pay is $25/hour + tips (our technicians earn anywhere from $10-$40 in tips each service)
- Full-time employees receive 2 weeks PTO after 1 year of employment

Experience with scalp treatments is a plus, but we’re more than happy to train the right people.
Interviews will be held asap, with training starting in June. We're hoping to open in July!
