Job Overview
growing and well-established multidisciplinary engineering firm seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their MEP team. This role will support the design of power, lighting, and fire alarm systems for a variety of commercial, institutional, and industrial projects while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will assist with developing innovative and technically sound design solutions in accordance with project requirements, applicable codes, and construction standards. This position offers strong exposure to project coordination, technical design, and long-term professional growth within a highly respected engineering environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical emphasis
- 3-20 years of experience within an A/E, A/E/C, or consulting engineering environment
- Understanding of multidisciplinary building system coordination
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and general building codes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- EIT or PE preferred
- Experience with Revit and familiarity with software such as LightStanza
