Packing & Shipping Associate (Part-Time with Full-Time Growth Opportunity)
KJK Antiques & Auctions is a fast-growing auction company specializing in antiques, vintage collectibles, unique curiosities, and oddities. Every day is different, and no two shipments are alike! We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our warehouse team as a Packing & Shipping Associate.
This position starts part-time with the opportunity to become full-time as our business continues to grow. If you're hardworking, organized, and enjoy hands-on work in a unique environment, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Carefully inspect, pack, and prepare auction purchases for shipment using appropriate packing materials and techniques.
- Verify outgoing orders for accuracy before shipping.
- Process and organize daily shipping schedules to ensure packages are shipped on time.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of shipping supplies.
- Transport outgoing packages to the local Post Office using a company vehicle.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure customer orders are complete and properly packaged.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and packing area.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to prioritize shipments and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous packing, shipping, warehouse, or fulfillment experience is helpful but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Dependable, honest, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
