Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Part-Time Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, and has a passion for food preparation and cooking.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for service, including chopping, portioning, and stocking stations
- Cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Dependable with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
