We are looking to hire Class A Drivers immediately. Drivers will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of at least 26,000 pounds.
80% of their deliveries are lift gate. All their trailers have lift gates. 70% Tailgate delivery, 30% is dock delivery. The route will have an electric pallet jack equipped with your load. Trucks are mostly sleepers, and you may have an overnight trip per week. If a sleeper is unavailable, you will have access to a hotel paid for by the company. Overnight depends on the routes.
Responsibilities:
· Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
· Load and unload cargo
· Properly track and document activity log
· Report any issues or incidents to dispatch.
· Inspect the truck before and after the trip.
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
· CDL Class A driver's license
· Ability to handle physical workload.
· Strong work ethic
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
