We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacist in Charge to lead our pharmacy operations with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities
- Lead the pharmacy team to deliver outstanding patient service while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws, including HIPAA regulations and USP 797 standards for sterile compounding.
- Oversee medication dispensing, compounding medications accurately using aseptic techniques, and managing inventory to prevent shortages or excess.
- Conduct patient assessments and provide clinical pharmacy services such as medication management, pain management consultations, immunizations, and pediatrics care.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation within Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS), Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, and other healthcare software platforms.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to uphold operational excellence and foster professional development.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory policies and medical confidentiality policies while managing drug regulation updates.
Requirements
- Valid pharmacist license in good standing with current state and federal pharmacy laws knowledge.
- Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology principles, and medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients effectively.
Pay: $55.29 - $66.59 per hour
