Painter’s Helper / General Laborer (Entry-Level)
We are seeking a motivated entry-levelPainter’s Helper /General Laborer to assist shop employees with a variety of daily tasks. Responsibilities include Painting, moving, organizing, and labeling materials, as well as supporting production operations. Pay will be depending on experience.
Schedule:
· Monday to Thursday 6am to 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist shop employees with daily tasks and general labor duties.
- Move, organize, and label materials.
- Operate basic shop tools, including grinders, painting equipment, punches and drills as needed.
- Assist in rigging and move materials using an overhead crane.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and work instructions.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Ability to lift (50lbs), prolonged standing and walking
- Willingness to learn and safely operate shop equipment to move materials as required.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Proficiency in reading tape measures
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and weight assessments
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
