The Pharmacy Extern is responsible for assisting the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, compounds and dispenses medical prescriptions.
- May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department.
- Receives and stores incoming supplies.
- Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.

- Education: Enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited college of pharmacy
