American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position offering a 3x12 day shift schedule with weekend and holiday rotation.

Emergency Department setting with 64 patient care areas
-
High-volume unit seeing 250+ patients daily
-
RN to patient ratio of 4:1 with ED Techs on staff
-
3x12 schedule, 7a-7p day shift
-
Weekend and holiday rotation required

Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact) required

Current BLS certification required

ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred

No prior nursing experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred

Deliver patient and family-centered nursing care using a holistic, evidence-based approach

Perform comprehensive assessments, identify risk factors, and prioritize patient needs

Implement patient care therapies and procedures within scope of practice

Facilitate discharge processes and coordinate with Case Management as needed

Delegate and oversee tasks performed by other care team members

Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
