Job Summary
Join our dynamic educational team as a San Diego Traveling Assistant Preschool Director, where you will lead and support early childhood education programs across multiple locations. This role allows you to work in the classroom and partner with center directors to ensure the efficency of each school. You are the eyes and ears for the center directors when they aren't there. You will collaborate with staff, families, and community partners to create enriching environments for young learners while traveling between sites to provide guidance, training, and oversight. Duties
- Assist with enrollment and subsidy programs.
- Facilitate professional development sessions for teachers and staff, promoting instructional leadership and continuous improvement in classroom practices.
- Lead strategic planning efforts to expand program reach, improve educational quality, and enhance community engagement.
- Supervise school staff at various locations, providing mentorship, conducting faculty evaluations, and supporting personnel management in accordance with legal and organizational policies.
- Ensure educational compliance with local, state, and federal regulations—including special education law—and maintain thorough documentation for accreditation purposes.
Additional Information
- Looking for someone with proven experience in a California preschool setting.
- Having a permit would be a plus
- Must qualify to be a preschool director since you are taking over for them when they aren't there
- Patience with the entire team from leadership and peers to teachers and parents
- Desire to move into a Center Director role, when it becomes available
- Strong knowledge of Title 5 and Title 22
- Kindness and a genuine personality with a consistent smile and positive attitude

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
