Duties
- Operate various folding machines, ensuring smooth and efficient production runs
- Interpret production documents, work orders, and technical specifications to set up machines accurately
- Adjust machine settings and perform mechanical troubleshooting to optimize folding quality and throughput
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the folding process, inspecting finished products for accuracy, alignment, and finish quality
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on machinery to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan
Skills
- Extensive experience operating folding machines and understanding of industrial equipment adjustment
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to printing presses and general bindery equipment.
- Ability to manage cutting, paper binding, machining and the finishing processes effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control and consistency in print output
- Technical proficiency in machine operation, troubleshooting mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime
