Poway Adult Day Health Care Center is seeking a driver to transport older adults with varying degrees of physical and mental health challenges.
Drivers will transport riders to and from their home to adult daycare facility, driving either a 9 or 12 passenger shuttle bus or minivan, depending on license type (Class C OK, must have clean driving record)(Hiring process requires DMV Driver Record). Applicants must be able to learn how to perform wheelchair tie downs and safe transfers of riders.
Preferred requirements: Class B license with Passenger Endorsement.
- Part-time (approximately 18-22 hours a week)
- Currently looking for Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri
- Shift hours are split between morning and afternoon: AM: 7:30-10am PM: 1:45-4pm and applicants should be able to provide both shifts per day. Hours are not available between shifts.
- Opportunities to pick up shifts to cover for other driver absences as needed
Ideal characteristics: flexibility, positive attitude/energy, good communication skills, team player. Sense of humor is a bonus!
