Hotel General Manager
Location is about about one hour from Austin or San Antonio.
Competitive Salary supplemented by very strong bonus program.
Franchised hotel management experience is mandatory, minimum three years.
Food / Beverage experience will NOT be considered.
General Manager for select service franchise hotel. Hilton experience required with certification .
Sales Director experience and revenue growth achievement must be demonstrated.
Business management and budgetary efficiency skills needed.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Set policies and processes
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Direct the employee assessment process
- Prepare regular reports for upper management
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
Skills
- Proven experience as a General Manager/Sales Director similar executive role
- Experience in planning and budgeting
- Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
- Strong analytical ability

- Prefer college degree, BSc/BA in Business or relevant field.

Education/Experience:
- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 3- years hotel Sales experience (at least 1 year at the corporate level) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conforms to prescribed style and format.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
