About the Role
As a Metrology Calibration Specialist, you will serve as the technical authority for mechanical measurement integrity, ensuring all instrumentation meets rigorous regulatory and quality benchmarks. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational precision by managing calibration lifecycles, optimizing documentation workflows, and providing expert support during quality audits.
Responsibilities-
Coordinate end-to-end mechanical calibration activities, ensuring full traceability and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540 standards.

Develop and refine technical calibration procedures using Fluke Editor to improve measurement accuracy and process efficiency.

Manage external vendor relationships, monitoring service turnaround times and validating the quality of outsourced certifications.

Oversee internal calibration management systems and the Fluke Customer Portal to maintain precise, audit-ready documentation.

Generate performance metrics and status reports to provide management with actionable insights into equipment health and compliance.

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, presenting data and demonstrating adherence to quality protocols.

Execute procurement tasks for calibration tools and services within ERP systems to ensure seamless lab operations.
Qualifications-
3–5 years of professional experience in mechanical calibration or metrology.

Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical measurement methods and test equipment, including CMMs, torque tools, and precision gages.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically for data analysis and technical report generation.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple calibration schedules simultaneously.

Experience with Fluke MET/CAL, MET/TEAM, and Crystal Reports software.

Familiarity with ERP systems like JD Edwards for procurement and inventory tracking.

ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or ISO 17025 Internal Auditor certification.

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Metrology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
