Stone Polishers and Fabricators (full time Monday-Friday)

We are seeking an experienced Stone Polishers and Fabricators to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in quality workmanship, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in producing high-quality stone products that exceed our customers' expectations.
Essential Functions
- Operate fabrication machinery to route and shape stone materials.
- Use wet grinders and polishing tools to grind, shape, and polish stone to a smooth or high-luster finish.
- Select and install the appropriate abrasive wheels based on the type of stone, desired finish, and stage of the fabrication process.
- Inspect stone surfaces by sight and touch to identify uneven areas and ensure quality standards are met.
- Apply polishing compounds and use buffing wheels to achieve a finished surface.
- Fill cracks and imperfections in marble with color-matched epoxy when needed.
- Read and follow job plans, work orders, and fabrication instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Previous stone polishing or fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to read and follow job plans, work orders, and written instructions.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to remain standing for up to 10 hours per shift, with scheduled breaks.
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs throughout the workday.
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and position yourself around large stone materials during fabrication.
- Comfortable working in a wet environment throughout the day.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds multiple times throughout the day.
- Ability to push and pull loads of up to 75 pounds using wheeled carts.
