Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card payments, and upselling additional items like cocktails or desserts.
- Provide expert recommendations on wine, spirits, and menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, adhering to food safety protocols.
- Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including inventory checks and POS system reconciliation.
- Foster guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Must be 18+
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of beverage service, including cocktail mixing, spirits, wine, and drink presentation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations required.
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently while upselling menu items.
- Excellent guest relations skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that enhances the dining experience.
