We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and guidelines provided
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets our high standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during service
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the kitchen manager
- Assist with catering events as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Proficient knife skills for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe development
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of meals
