We're looking for someone with 1–2 years of residential pool service experience who wants to work hard, learn new skills and grow with a company.
What You'll Do
You will have your own pool route and be responsible for providing quality service at every stop.
- Skim, brush and vacuum every pool
- Test water and properly adjust chemicals
- Understand pool chemistry and accurately measure and dose chemicals
- Clean baskets and filters as needed
- Inspect equipment and identify problems
- Learn and perform pool equipment repairs
- Take good photos of the pool when you arrive
- Record water readings, chemicals, dosages and work completed in our app
- Document the condition of the pool when you arrive and the results when you leave
- Keep your truck, equipment and chemical inventory organized
- Help with other company needs when necessary—pick up supplies, deliver parts or chemicals, help another technician, etc.
Chemistry Is Important
We need someone who understands pool chemistry and wants to keep learning.
You will be expected to accurately test the water at every stop, understand the results, determine the proper treatment, measure chemicals correctly and administer the proper dosage.
Test → Understand → Dose Correctly → Record
Our goal is to keep every customer's pool in great shape—not just make the pool look good for one day.
We Want Someone Who:
- Has 1–2 years of pool service experience
- Has a strong understanding of pool chemistry
- Is mechanically inclined and enjoys working with their hands
- Has pool repair experience or wants to learn repairs
- Is willing to learn new equipment, skills and procedures
- Is comfortable using a smartphone and service app
- Shows up early, ready to work and stays productive throughout the day
- Is willing to work 40–50+ hours per week
- Is comfortable working outside in extreme Texas heat, humidity and rain
- Has a valid driver's license and good driving record
- Is safety-conscious and pays attention to detail
- Is honest, dependable and takes responsibility for their work
- Does not smoke in company trucks, on customer properties or around chemicals
Quality & Accountability
We expect quality service every time, at every stop.
The entire service process needs to be completed—not just the easiest parts.
Clean it. Brush it. Vacuum it. Test it. Balance it. Inspect it. Document it.
If you are asked to go back to a pool because something was missed or needs additional attention, you are expected to actually return and take care of it.
We want someone who:
- Takes pride in doing the job correctly
- Does not take shortcuts to finish faster
- Accepts constructive criticism
- Doesn't take feedback personally
- Learns from mistakes and uses them as lessons learned
- Takes responsibility instead of making excuses
- Is willing to ask questions when they don't know something
- Uses feedback to get better
We don't expect perfection. We expect honesty, accountability and a willingness to improve.
Repairs & Growth
Pool repair experience is a big plus.
Experience with pumps, motors, filters, heaters, salt systems, automation, plumbing or other pool equipment is highly valued.
If you don't have repair experience but are mechanically inclined and eager to learn, we are willing to train the right person.
You will also be required to complete CPO (Certified Pool Operator) training and pass the certification test within your first year.
Be Ready to Adapt
We are a growing company, and things will change.
You need to be willing to learn new processes, use new technology, take on new responsibilities and adapt when the company changes.
You will have your own route, but you are also part of a team. Sometimes you'll need to:
- Pick up supplies
- Stop at storage
- Deliver supplies to another technician
- Help another technician
- Assist with company projects or other needs
We need someone who is flexible and willing to pitch in.
This Job Is For You If...
You'd rather be outside than behind a desk.
You like working with your hands.
You want to learn more than just pool cleaning.
You take pride in doing things right.
You're dependable and can work independently.
You are comfortable starting early and working a full day.
You care about doing good work and treating customers and coworkers the way you want to be treated.
If you're looking for an easy job where you can rush through a route and go home early, this probably isn't the right position.
If you're looking for a full-time opportunity where you can work hard, learn a trade, develop repair skills and grow with a company, we'd like to hear from you.
We're interviewing now and plan to fill this position within the next 2 weeks.
