As a Customer Service Representative in our eCommerce department, you will play a vital role in providing professional and unsurpassed customer service to each of our online shoppers. Day to day responsibilities include data entry and consolidation for online orders, order processing, responding to customer inquiries via phone and email, processing credits for returned merchandise, answering vendor partner phone calls, and resolving vendor escalations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process online orders daily for warehouse to meet vendor shipping deadlines
- Transmit shipment tracking information where necessary
- Ensure customer service inquiries and emails are attended to in a professional manner.
- Keep up to date inventory records with key accounts
- Issue return debits/credits as appropriate; follow up with other departments to ensure returns are handled within quality guidelines
- Investigate customer complaints and inquiries for defective product claims. Communicate and coordinate replacement orders with shipping team to exceed customer expectations. Work with freight companies to correct shipping problems
- Communicate pertinent information to the eCommerce Manager
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong phone skills and active listening ability
- Exceptional interpersonal skills while interacting with customers and coworkers
- Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively
- Prior customer service experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
- Prior SAP experience a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May require occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
