LABORATORY TECHNICIAN I
South Norwalk Electric & Water (SNEW) is seeking a Laboratory Technician based at our state-of-the art water treatment plant. Working in the chemistry and microbiology laboratories, the Laboratory Technician will perform analyses, maintain inventory and equipment, and evaluate results. Additionally, the Laboratory Technician will collaborate with the water quality team to achieve regulatory compliance for SNEW’s laboratory and water supply, treatment, and distribution systems.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1 year of experience working in a water-related laboratory and be familiar with water chemistry and biology.
This hourly position may require over-time and emergency work as needed. SNEW offers a competitive salary and great benefits including participation in the CMERS pension program.
