Overview
Graphic House is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead full-cycle accounting in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires a strong accounting background, hands-on experience working with manufacturing operations, and expertise in job costing and project profitability analysis.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, have experience supporting manufacturing operations, and demonstrate a deep understanding of job costing, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role works closely with company leadership and production teams to ensure accurate financial data, cost visibility, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Accounting & Operations
- Manage and analyze job costing, project profitability, and forecasting.
- Partner with operations and manufacturing leadership to improve cost tracking and efficiency.
- Monitor labor, material, and overhead costs to ensure accurate project reporting.
- Utilize manufacturing management systems to support financial analysis and operational decision-making.
Full-Cycle Accounting
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare and file multi-state sales tax reports.
- Support labor compliance, prevailing wage reporting, and L&I requirements.
- Review contracts for financial accuracy and risk assessment.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Financial Analysis
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership.
Required Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (4-year degree required).
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong job costing and project accounting experience required.
- Experience working directly with manufacturing operations and production teams.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience with KIMCO or similar manufacturing ERP/MRP systems.
- Knowledge of multi-state sales tax reporting.
- Experience with labor compliance, prevailing wage reporting, and contract review.
