Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, efficient service
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions smoothly and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with basic math skills for accurate cashiering and retail math calculations
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring quality standards are consistently met
- Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively to ensure prompt service
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or café experience is highly preferred, along with knowledge of coffee industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail transactions
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Experience in serving food and beverage products while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
