We currently have an opportunity for a Certified Contact Lens Technician to work with our ophthalmologist, optometry and contact lens professionals by fitting contact lenses for our patients and providing them personalized recommendations for products and services.
Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Conducting yearly and follow-up contact lens evaluations for patients
- Evaluating and fitting all types of soft and rigid lenses including scleral lenses
- Generating Contact Lens Prescriptions and Contact Lens Orders
- Conducting insertion and removal training for new contact lens wearers
- Providing patient education on contact lens products and proper care of contact lenses
- Taking Keratometry readings
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience fitting soft, rigid and scleral contact lenses
- NCLE certification or equivalent education/certification
- Experience with electronic medical records (Compulink preferred)
