Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse range of equipment like diesel pickup trucks, power wash units, towable compressors, and gas pumps. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel pickup trucks, power wash units, towable compressors, gas pumps, and more.
- Diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., DOT inspections for trucks).
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime for our fleet.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history.
- Assist with inventory management of parts and tools.
- Occasionally perform field repairs or roadside assistance as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic working on trucks and equipment
- Familiarity with a variety of equipment types, pickup trucks, pressure washers, and air compressors.
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
- High school diploma or GED; technical school training is a plus.
