Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $55.00 per hour
Job Summary
Legacy Personnel, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Operating Room Surgical Technologist to join the surgical team at Kaiser Permanente – Sunnybrook Medical Offices. This is a per diem opportunity for experienced surgical technologists who thrive in a fast-paced operating room environment and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
The ideal candidate has recent operating room experience, is flexible with scheduling, and is comfortable assisting with total joint and robotic surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons, registered nurses, and the surgical team during operative procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain sterile technique and comply with infection prevention protocols.
- Perform instrument, sponge, and sharps counts according to facility policy.
- Prepare the operating room before procedures and assist with room turnover.
- Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are functioning properly.
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active State Surgical Technologist License
- Current BLS Certification
- Current immunization records
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room Surgical Technologist experience
- Experience assisting with total joint and robotic surgeries
- Flexibility with scheduling is required

Scheduling is highly flexible, and bookings are coordinated directly between the clinician and the hospital.
