Position Summary: We are seeking a Field Supervisor to join our Builder Division in Delaware (with occasional travel to Maryland’s Eastern Shore). This role focuses on builder communities, overseeing fence and deck projects from start to finish. You will work directly with builders, superintendents, subcontractors, project managers, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Field Supervisor reports directly to the Builder Team Production Manager and will spend the majority of their time on job sites within builder communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise installation crews and subcontractors on builder community projects
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with builder and company standards
- Communicate proactively with builder superintendents, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Maintain detailed project notes in Salesforce (CRM)
- Ensure field teams adhere to safety and company policies
- Mentor field personnel to maintain productivity, quality, and professionalism
- Resolve on-site issues efficiently and escalate when necessary
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in residential construction required (Decks, Screened Rooms, and Porches experience a plus)
- Supervisory or field leadership experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and project specifications
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM or project tracking software
