Help young children discover, explore, and grow in a joyful learning community.
Our vibrant, nurturing Jewish Early Childhood Center is seeking passionate Assistant Teachers to join our growing team. We serve children from 3 months through the Pre-K 4's, creating warm, engaging classrooms where curiosity, play, and meaningful relationships are at the heart of every day.
We're currently looking for educators who are available to work afternoons between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time schedules depending on the position.
What We're Looking For
We're searching for teachers who believe that the early years matter. The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children.
- Brings warmth, patience, and genuine joy to every interaction.
- Loves getting down on the floor to play, explore, and learn alongside children.
- Isn't afraid to get a little messy with sensory play, art, water and hands-on learning experiences.
- Understands that every child develops at their own pace and enjoys supporting children through thoughtful guidance and encouragement.
- Values strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Is dependable, collaborative, and eager to continue growing as an educator.
What You'll Do
As a member of our teaching team, you'll help create an environment where children feel safe, loved, and inspired to learn. You'll:
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that encourage exploration and discovery.
- Help maintain a warm, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Partner with lead teachers and families to support each child's growth.
- Foster independence, confidence, kindness, and curiosity in our youngest learners.
Why You'll Love Working With Us
Our school is more than a workplace—it's a community. We believe that when teachers feel valued and supported, children thrive.
We offer:
- A welcoming, collaborative team of dedicated educators.
- Beautiful classrooms filled with engaging materials.
- Supportive leadership that values creativity and professional growth.
- A joyful school culture where relationships come first.
- The opportunity to make a meaningful difference during the most important years of a child's development.
Previous experience in an early childhood setting is preferred. A background in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus.
If you are passionate about helping young children learn through play, building meaningful relationships, and creating joyful classroom experiences, we'd love to meet you.
