At Scramble Indoor Play, our Shift Leads play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering exceptional experiences for children and families. This position serves as a member of the location leadership team, helping oversee staff, guest service, facility operations, and safety during scheduled shifts.
The ideal candidate is a dependable leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and is passionate about creating positive experiences for guests and team members alike.
- Lead daily operations during assigned shifts and serve as the acting supervisor when management is not present.
- Support and coach Team Members to ensure outstanding guest service.
- Monitor facility cleanliness, safety standards, and operational readiness throughout the day.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
- Help coordinate staffing assignments and ensure adequate coverage in all operational areas.
- Enforce Scramble policies, procedures, and rules of play.
- Assist with guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
- Support café, retail, admissions, and party operations as needed.
- Train new team members and reinforce company standards.
- Maintain a positive and energetic environment for guests and staff.
- Strong leadership and customer service skills.

- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

- Comfortable making decisions and leading a team during shifts.
- Flexible schedule with availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year of leadership, supervisory, hospitality, recreation, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience working with children and families is a plus.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning POS systems.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Shift Leads receive cross-training in guest services, party operations, café operations, team leadership, and facility management, creating opportunities for advancement within Scramble Indoor Play.
