The San Francisco Rejuvenation Center, a Quad A-accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in facial plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures, is seeking an experienced, quality-driven Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our exceptional surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently circulate surgical procedures in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center.
- Supervise and coordinate patient care within a single operating room environment.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room to ensure efficiency, sterility, and readiness.
- Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs while promoting efficient case flow and room turnover.
- Monitor patients throughout the perioperative experience with a strong focus on safety and quality outcomes.
- Administer medications, start IVs, and perform perioperative nursing care.
- Perform preoperative assessments, including vital signs, EKGs, pregnancy testing, and patient preparation.
- Complete accurate perioperative documentation and maintain up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to provide exceptional patient care.
- Organize OR activities efficiently while managing supplies, inventory, and staff resources.
- Support compliance with Quad A accreditation standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Cross-train in preoperative nursing, PACU recovery, wound care, and postoperative patient follow-up.
Qualifications
Required
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room circulating experience. Applicants without circulating experience will not be considered.
- Ability to independently manage an operating room.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Strong IV insertion and above-average phlebotomy skills.
- Working knowledge of surgical equipment, sterile technique, and perioperative nursing standards.
- Excellent communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
Preferred
- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience.
- Experience with facial plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, ENT, or ophthalmology procedures.
- Experience with Quad A, AAAHC, or Joint Commission accreditation.
- Previous charge nurse, preceptor, or leadership experience.
