HiRel Connectors Inc. (HIRELCO) is an industry leader whose expertise is in designing and manufacturing custom and MIL-Spec interconnect products for a variety of industries including Aerospace and Defense is seeking a Maintenance Technician.
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and general maintenance of manufacturing equipment, mechanical systems, and facility equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner.
- Diagnose and repair AC Units issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure minimal downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Direct and coordinate maintenance operations within company policies and procedures.
- Communicate, implement, and monitor safety programs and procedures;
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Identify problems and initiate or recommend corrective actions.
- Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of planned maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical school, trade school, apprenticeship, or equivalent training in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, machining, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience working on AC Units is strongly preferred
- Experience maintaining CNC machines/other manufacturing equipment is strongly preferred.
- Experience in aerospace, precision machining, or similar manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and identify the root cause of equipment problems.
- Knowledge of motors, bearings, belts, gears, pumps, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and related mechanical components.
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
