Home Matters Caregiving is a Nurse-Guided, non-medical home care agency serving seniors and adults in the Wilsonville area and surrounding communities. Clinical oversight is foundational to how we operate — it is what separates us from other agencies and what makes our care model work. Our Per Diem RN plays a vital role in maintaining the quality, consistency, and safety of care delivered in the home.
About the Role
This is a per diem, part-time position with a flexible schedule. You will not be conducting orientations. Instead, your focus is entirely on clinical oversight and field support — showing up where and when you're needed to ensure our clients receive excellent, well-supervised care. We are looking for someone who has experience and is compassionate and kind, as most of our clients are in their golden geriatric years. We are targeting a September 2026 start date but training may be held sooner.
Duties
- Conduct client oversight visits and ongoing clinical monitoring in the home
- Provide field training and hands-on support for caregivers during client visits
- Facilitate care consultations with clients and families as needed
- Cover medication management shifts as assigned
- Assist with wound care if approved through home health coordination
- Document clinical observations and communicate findings to the care team
Requirements
- Active RN License in the State of Oregon Required. Applicants without an active Oregon RN license will not be considered.
- 2+ years of clinical nursing experience preferred; motivated candidates with strong home care instincts will be considered
- Experience in home care, home health, or community health is a plus
- Dependable, clinically sharp, and comfortable working independently in the field
- Strong communication skills — able to connect with clients, families, and caregivers
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required***
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour, based on experience
- Mileage compensation for field travel
- 401(k) eligibility after 90 days, if qualified
- Flexible, per diem schedule — part-time hours
