As a Dietary Aide, you will assist in the preparation, service, and cleanup of meals for residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and facility standards. This role is key to ensuring residents enjoy a clean, safe, and satisfying dining experience every day. This is a full time, every other weekend position with varying shifts from days to evenings depending on need.
Assist with meal preparation and food service
Set up trays, food carts, and dining areas for meal service
Deliver meals to residents and assist as needed
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, and work areas
Store food properly and monitor expiration dates
Follow dietary restrictions and portion guidelines as instructed
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
Work cooperatively with other dietary and facility staff
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous food service or healthcare dietary experience is a plus
Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation practices
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
Friendly, respectful, and reliable demeanor
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
