Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Point Click Care.
- Administer medications and injections accurately, following aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Manage complex care needs such as dialysis, ostomy care, and wound .
- Coordinate patient care plans through case management activities, discharge planning, and collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations including specimen collection/processing and laboratory testing to support clinical decision-making.
- Provide education on health coaching topics such as geriatrics, memory care, behavioral health, pain management, and family planning to patients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation for legal and billing purposes.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in good standing with the appropriate state licensing board.
- Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or outpatient clinics.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy/physiology and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems) like PCC.
- Critical care experience preferred, including ICU or Level I/II trauma center exposure; experience with trauma medicine or emergency room procedures is highly valued.
- Skilled in advanced nursing procedures such as IV insertion, venipuncture, catheterization (urinary or vascular), tube feeding management, sterile processing techniques, and aseptic technique.
- Ability to handle complex patient cases involving infectious disease care, acute pain management, hospice & palliative medicine, occupational health issues including Workers’ compensation law understanding.
- Excellent assessment skills with the ability to perform triage in urgent care or emergency settings; familiarity with laboratory experience is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays in settings like assisted living or memory care is desirable. Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
