Job Summary
We are urgently hiring Machine Operators for our Large Stamping/Press Department in Attleboro, MA. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in high-volume manufacturing who are comfortable working with metals, operating stamping equipment, and maintaining production quality in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate large stamping and press machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform machine setups and monitor production throughout the shift
- Work with metals, raw materials, and precision components
- Read and interpret blueprints and production specifications
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards
- Assist with basic machine maintenance and report equipment issues
- Maintain accurate production records
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of manufacturing experience required
- Experience working with large stamping or press equipment preferred
- Knowledge of metals, raw materials, steel mills, or precious metals processing
- Machine setup experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of hand and measuring tools
- Basic computer (PC) skills
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift 35–50+ lbs.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Requirements
- English proficiency required
- Reliable transportation required
- OSHA-approved safety shoes are mandatory
- Must be able to pass a background check if hired
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the role, which may include standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
